Recipe Name Ingredients: How to Make:
Sattu Energy Drink (Sweet & Salty)
  • 2 tbsp Sattu
  • 1 glass chilled water
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp honey (for sweet version) or black salt (for salty version)
  • Mix Sattu with water and stir well.
  • Add lemon juice and honey or black salt based on preference.
  • Serve chilled!
Sattu Paratha
  • 1 cup wheat flour
  • ½ cup Sattu
  • 1 onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 green chili (chopped)
  • 1 tsp ajwain (carom seeds)
  • Salt to taste
  • Mix Sattu with onions, chili, and spices.
  • Stuff this mixture into wheat flour dough and roll it out.
  • Cook on a tawa with ghee. Serve hot with curd or pickle.
Sattu Chilla (Savory Pancakes)
  • ½ cup Sattu
  • ¼ cup rice flour
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 onion (chopped)
  • Salt & turmeric to taste
  • Mix all ingredients with water to form a batter.
  • Pour onto a hot pan like a pancake.

Sattu Ladoo
  • 1 cup Sattu
  • ½ cup jaggery (powdered)
  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • ¼ tsp cardamom powder
  • Heat ghee in a pan and roast Sattu for 2 minutes.
  • Mix with jaggery and cardamom powder.
  • Shape into ladoos and let them cool.
Sattu Soup (For Weight Loss)
  • 2 tbsp Sattu
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 garlic clove (chopped)
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Heat a little oil in a pan and sauté garlic.
  • Add Sattu and stir for a minute.
  • Pour in water, add spices, and bring to a boil.
  • Serve warm!
